A visual and conceptual journey into the artist’s inner universe, where art becomes a tool to navigate the labyrinth of existence. The exhibition is curated by Ilaria Baglini.

Born in Genoa in 1984, Fabio Colombo develops a deep connection with art from a young age, fueling his research between abstraction and urban minimalism. In his works, an intense reflection takes shape on the dualisms of the human soul: light and shadow, black and white, silence and tension. The influence of abstract expressionism blends with a contemporary sensibility, where emotion and conceptualism coexist in a delicate balance.

“One life is not enough” is more than a title: it is a statement of intent. It is the awareness that every experience, every gaze, and every emotion contribute to defining our uniqueness. Colombo invites us to lose ourselves and find ourselves, to explore our inner world with the same restless thirst for knowledge as a modern Ulysses. His canvases, rich in visual and symbolic layers, do not provide answers but pose profound questions about being and time.

The exhibition unfolds like a visual narrative of sharp contrasts and vibrant surfaces, where painting is a meditative act and an act of resistance to disenchantment. Colombo traces a personal and powerful path, addressing the observer with sincerity, strength, and vulnerability.
