Suitcases inside suitcases inside suitcases: objects that constantly change shape, always giving life to new scenarios. A show that takes us back in time: an imaginary hotel, full of guests with old suitcases. It’s the 1930s, music accompanies a friendly bellhop in his overwhelming battle against chaos.
All jobs eventually become boring and repetitive, so after years of transporting suitcases, a quirky hotel bellhop has learned to look at things from a different perspective and break his alienating routine. Changing perspective is a constant of the whole show; looking beyond, or perhaps better inside the mind and inside ourselves to return to playing with nothing and with little, breaking away from the everyday to grasp the extraordinary.
Between physical theater, clowning, and circus skills, Luigi Ciotta with his simplicity engages and plays with the audience, creating a show with a relentless pace and numerous poetic moments.
