Tour. The Ancient crafts of the Port

A new original tour that will take you to the secret and hidden artistic and architectural masterpieces of the port city of Livorno. Starting from the heart of the seicentesco quarter della Venezia, you will have access to the Museo delle Imbarcazioni dell’ Autorità Portuale del Mar Tirreno Settentrionale, where you will admire the last remaining small boat in Livorno and other historic vessels. Walking through the picturesque streets of della Venezia and del Pontino we will evoke in their workplaces, the dock workers and many other trades, until we reach a charming and characteristic cellar right by the water where you will meet Fulvio Pacitto, the last master of the Ascia di Livorno, who with his memories of the city that was, will demonstrate this ancient profession.
