TOUR: GIOVANNI FATTORI IN THE PENTAGON

On Saturday, October 25th for the celebrations of the 200 years since the birth of Giovanni Fattori, and on the exact day of his death, we will accompany you on a tour to discover the places, events, and anecdotes of the Master’s life in Livorno, in the area of the Buontalenti Pentagon and surroundings. Although Fattori’s painting themes are predominantly immersed in nature (battlefields, encampments, rustic themes, peasant life, and more rare seascapes), the important facts of Giovanni’s life – sor Beppe’s son – took place in the heart of his city: birth, important life events, the first rudiments of painting, his returns from Florence… and much more.
