Free tour-event to discover the neighborhood of Borgo Cappuccini

On Saturday, September 30th, at 5:30 PM, a free tour-event is scheduled for a maximum of 30 participants to explore the Borgo Cappuccini neighborhood. It’s called “Authentic experiences in Borgo – Art and creativity among the streets of the neighborhood” and will take participants on a discovery of a neighborhood that is a real open-air art gallery, thanks to the increasing number of murals created by national and international street artists. The discovery of the murals will be interspersed with visits to some workshops of artists and artisans who animate the neighborhood, ending with some tastings curated by the operators of CCN Borgo Cappuccini (Kirù, Red Hop, L’Angolo del Gelato. Meeting point: 5:15 PM in front of the statue of Giuseppe Mazzini, duration 2 hours, including tastings and minimum difficulty level (normal urban walk). With “Authentic experiences in Borgo”, the first of the 8 stages of “CCN in tour” begins, a journey to discover the city neighborhoods and their gastronomic excellence. The initiative is part of the broader Livorno Online project, which aims to promote the digitalization of the CCN network as a tool to help Natural Shopping Centers support the competition of online commerce. Eight natural shopping centers (Venezia, Fiorentina, San Jacopo, Modì, Colline, Cambini, Borgo, Banditella-Marilia), with the coordination of the Municipality of Livorno, have come together and gone online on the portal www.livorno-online.it and on social media (Instagram and Facebook) to communicate their collective and shared initiatives quickly, directly, and live. As part of this project, Confesercenti Livorno wanted to contribute to the revitalization and requalification of the CCNs by proposing a program of events to the Municipal Administration called “CCN in Tour. Gastronomic paths in the places of commerce”, in collaboration with the Murali association, in partnership with Agave Cooperative and Cooperativa itinera, and under the aegis of Vetrina Toscana.
