FRIDAY 24 OCTOBER – Less than a year after, the C.Y.B., acronym for Cyborg Bees, return to the stage of The Cage. After flying over many stages during the summer months, the buzz of their name is ready to land again at the Villa Corridi theater to present a preview of their new album. Their sound is an immersive and kaleidoscopic sonic journey that escapes any easy label, in constant dialogue between tradition and innovation. Each C.Y.B. track is a small laboratory where tradition meets innovation, the warmth of analog converses with the imperturbability of digital, and jazz improvisation melds with rhythmic architectures typical of contemporary clubbing.
Born in the midst of a pandemic, this interesting musical project has grown over the years to become one of the most intriguing realities of the new electronic scene on the coast. The band consists of Massimo Gemini (tenor, baritone, and alto saxophone, keyboards, vocals), Luca Pasquadibisceglie (LPDB) (drums, percussion, electronic programming and mastering), Samuele Vergili (DJ, electronic programming, Ableton Live master), Matteo Pastorelli (electric and baritone guitar), and Fabrizio Balest (bass).
Live, the band unleashes a contagious energy, blending precision and improvisation in a show that is both physical and visionary. Each performance is a growing flow, a sensory experience where every beat is a discovery and timeless influences meet futuristic soundscapes and high-intensity grooves.
Following, space for Into the groove, a new electronic music format hosted by The Cage.
