Sagra del Totano 2024Squid Festival 2024

The event consists of two main events: the Totano Fishing Race which includes various categories of participants – on land and at sea – for sailboats and motorboats. The start of the nearly 100 boats is a spectacular event. Equally fun is the weighing of the caught squids which is done at the end of the race at the SALATA.

The Festival organized by the Pro Loco together with all the island restaurants is the culmination of squid tasting: along the dock of the port, there are fried squid, squid rice, squid cous-cous, squid with herbs, squid with potatoes, squid lasagna, spicy squid crostini, squid arancini, and every year, there are variations on the theme, while the squid remains.

Saturday, October 26
SQUID FISHING MASTER CLASS, with Capraia fishermen at the Salata and practical test from the Molo after the ferry departure. Registration 5 euros per person

Saturday, November 2
FISHING COMPETITION at the Port, registration at 14.00 at the cost of 10 euros per person. Start of the Race (sea category) at 16.00 and 18.00 (land category). End of the race at 19.30 weighing at the Salata from 19.30 to 20.00.
