WHAT THE LIVORNESE WOMEN TELL US

“What the Livornese women tell us” is a musical show that celebrates the female figures of Livorno, women who have left an indelible mark in the world of art, culture, and entertainment. Through a multisensory experience, the show blends contemporary music, choreographic creativity, and visual images, paying tribute to five great Livornese women who have illuminated the history and present of the city.

“What the Livornese women say” is not just a show, but an emotional journey into the history and soul of Livorno, through the voices and art of its women. An opportunity to reflect on the importance of creativity and female strength, inspiring the audience to celebrate and respect the essence of being a woman.

The show features songs from all times, performed live by voices accompanied by Alex Mastromarino on guitar and bass. The musical lyrics recall the key themes of the protagonists’ lives: love, freedom, courage, art, and struggle. In video projection, artistic photographs of the protagonists curated by Massimo Lucarelli and the photographic group of DLF Livorno. The choreographies are supervised by Anita Anselmi from the Spettacolo Danza Study Center.
