Friday, April 24, at 6.30 pm, at Symphony Record Shop, Piazza Cavour, 23, presentation of the new CD by 1751, THE REST OF THE FUTURE. The 1751 are the Livornese, Rosita Romani, voice, and Mario Franceschi, piano.
Their independent music project was born in parallel with their personal history just a few years ago, but it seems to have existed since very ancient times: since 1751, in fact!
Their songs address social themes and intimate themes, current issues and events long consigned to the history books. What strikes those who listen to them is the common trait of a delicate and complex sensitivity towards human affairs, without distinction or prejudice, at times even ironic, devoid of temporal or social limits.
On the occasion of the release of their second album, they talk a little about “Il Resto del Futuro” – in a minimal version, piano and voice – allowing themselves some digressions, through direct dialogue with the audience and aided by the presence of Michele Faliani, a longtime friend, connoisseur and expert of music, photographer and editor for Tom Tom Rock and Pisorno.
