My Generation with Soloperisoci

Back to The Cage comes the showcase of My Generation, with which the Livorno live club addresses a very young audience and brings on stage emerging artists, continuing to promote young independent artists in collaboration with the Florentine Musicus Concentus. This Saturday will be the turn of Soloperisoci, for an event also organized with the collaboration of Inner Animal Recordings. A Roman band made up of four members, Soloperisoci was born from the experience of the project Ernesto e i Soci, which in 2018 had led to the release of the album Un giorno si un giorno no. They are Ernesto Alemà on vocals and guitar, Alessandro Onofri on vocals and guitar, Matteo De Vitis on vocals and bass, and Guglielmo Cappellini on drums. The group’s sound is a mix of new wave and jangle pop influences, with forays into Italian pop songwriting. In 2022, the band released four singles produced by Pietro Paroletti (Golden Years), accompanied by four self-produced “b-sides”. The successful single Rapina anticipated the release of their first album, Ingresso riservato, released on all platforms in May 2023. Soloperisoci stand out for the great passion and strength and energy that can be felt during their live shows, with which they have been touring the center-north for over a year: among the significant stops, we remember the great success achieved at Monk in Rome as part of the Chip Shot showcase and the opening for ComaCose at Meeting Del Mare.
