Osteria Alle Vettovaglie – Central Market of Livorno
Vernissage: Saturday, March 28 at 19:00
The art meets taste in the heart of the Mercato Centrale of Livorno. After the success of the exhibition by Sergio Bargagliotti, winner of the Premio Rotonda 2024, the Osteria Alle Vettovaglie continues its journey of contamination between culture and enogastronomy with a new artistic exhibition.
The Artist Cinzia Mazzoni
Born in Livorno, Cinzia Mazzoni graduated from the Istituto Statale di Moda e Costume Tornabuoni in Florence, starting her career as a theatrical tailor at prestigious theaters such as Teatro Goldoni in Livorno and Torre del Lago Puccini. Her artistic breakthrough came with the creation of 40 paintings on the kimonos of the choir members for the opera “Madama Butterfly”, an experience that ignited her passion for painting. In 2009 she exhibited her first solo show in Livorno during Effetto Venezia, and then participated in numerous exhibitions and art competitions throughout Italy, including Padova, Massa, Genoa (Museum of the Sea) and the Rotonda Prize in Livorno, obtaining important awards. In 2020, she contributed to the decoration of the pediatric oncohematology department of Santa Chiara Hospital in Pisa. In 2024, she won the competition “Painting Lavender” in Santa Luce (PI) and the FIDAPA (Italian Federation of Women in the Arts, Professions, and Business) Award for the most voted work by the public, earning the right to become part of the well-known Association. Moreover, she was a finalist in the International Competition of Illustration for Children’s Rights.
The Exhibition “Pure Imagination”
The exhibition presents recent works by the artist, united by the common thread of fantasy and creativity. The title “Pure Imagination” celebrates her artistic universe made of colors, emotions, and dreamlike suggestions, offering visitors an immersive journey between dream and reality.
A multisensory experience: art, good food, and great wine
The Osteria Alle Vettovaglie, always attentive to the enhancement of art and culture, invites the public to live a unique experience where painting and enogastronomy meet in a suggestive setting.
