Montenero, FREE funicular every Sunday

Free funicular on Sundays from May 4th to October 26th: this is the initiative adopted by the Municipality of Livorno in collaboration with AT Autolinee Toscane on the occasion of Jubilee 2025. “This initiative – declares the councilor for sustainable mobility Giovanna Cepparello – is part of the Administration’s strategy to relaunch and enhance public transport. The funicular must become, among other things, an important tourist attraction, which will also help to revitalize the Montenero district. We made this decision in the context of a discussion with the District Council, whom we thank for the collaboration.”
