MAYOR Von Frinzius – “Touch each other- touching is complicated”

The primary activity of the Mayor Von Frinzius APS consists therefore in the realization of theatrical workshops for disabled and non-disabled individuals, theatrical performances and consequently in participation in exhibitions and festivals. It also organizes other types of events, such as art exhibitions and open classes with audience involvement.

The idea was born from the director Lamberto Giannini, who over the years has surrounded himself with countless collaborators to advance the project. Currently, he shares the direction with Rachele Casali (president of the association), Silvia Angiolini (vice president) and Allegra Sartoni.

The 2025 show of Mayor Von Frinzius is titled “Brushing – touching is complicated” and the company will try to represent it in all its facets: platonic loves, mothers forced to leave their children, introspective dialogues, light effects, and comedic sketches among extraordinary actors where they will move from interrogations about Pascoli to interviews with disabled abusers. It is difficult to describe in words this show, in which the company tries to bring together its seventy actors and madness to compete together in the realization of everything that will happen on stage.

“Touching is complicated, touching implies exposing one’s own discomfort, one’s own repulsion … and so it is important to brush, because in brushing each can maintain themselves and try to meet the other. In brushing there is a delicacy that we have now lost”.
