Guitarist of Jethro Tull for over 43 years, he has played a crucial role in the band’s success. Album sales have exceeded 60 million and continue to be listened to worldwide. His guitar playing has earned him a high level of respect and recognition: 25th best soloist of all time in the United States and 20th best soloist of all time in the UK for his performance in “Aqualung”. His performance in “Crest of a Knave” earned him a Grammy Award in 1989. Aside from Jethro Tull, he has worked with many artists, including Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Gary Moore, Joe Bonamassa, and Chris Thompson, and has shared the stage with Hendrix, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, and Led Zeppelin. Martin Barre and his band will play “classic” music from the Tull catalog, including songs that haven’t been performed in many years.
