They Don’t Have a Friend is a theatrical show by and with LUCA BIZZARRI, written with Ugo Ripamonti, inspired by the homonymous podcast published by Chora Media, which has been and still is so successful as to make the expression “They Don’t Have a Friend” a common and widespread interjection.
Exactly like in the podcast – created to tell the election campaign and carried forward thanks to an average of fifty thousand daily listens and one million monthly streams – but with all the possibilities of deepening and “enjoying” the theatrical context, at the center of Non Hanno Un Amico there is the political communication of our times, social phenomena, the customs of a new millennium confused between the nostalgia of the twentieth century and the desire for technological and social innovation.
With all the sharpness of his satire, in an hour of storytelling about us, Bizzarri makes us laugh at ourselves, our weaknesses, our tics. An hour of storytelling in which we recognize ourselves as in a mirror that at first seems distorting, but which actually, if looked at closely, gives back that image of us that we refuse to see.
