Livorno Half Marathon – Livorno Half Marathon.

Between 80,000 and 85,000 is the approximate number of participants in the 35 editions of the “Città di Livorno” Marathon and the 6 editions (so far) of the “Livorno Half Marathon” coming from all regions of Italy and many foreign countries.
This running race, the most participated sports event in our city, since the distant 1981, has allowed people to visit Livorno and appreciate all its tourist attractions, which we have been promoting for many years even in similar events.
The Asd Livornomarathon, a sports company created by a decree of the Municipality specifically for the organization of this race, has been promoting the event for a long time, as it is part of the city’s major events.
The event was created to commemorate the victims of the Meloria disaster and since then it has always been confirmed on the second Sunday of November with the support of the Armed Forces (Folgore Brigade and Naval Academy).
