Livorno Art Book Fair 2026

From 31 July to 2 August 2026, the Museum of the City of Livorno – Cultural Center of the Bottini dell’Olio hosts the first edition of Livorno Art Book Fair, an event dedicated to art books, independent publishing, and contemporary editorial practices, organized by Blob Art ETS and T.O.E., with the participation of the Municipality of Livorno.

Conceived as a platform for meeting artists, publishers, photographers, illustrators, and independent projects, Livorno Art Book Fair aims to enhance the publication of art as an autonomous work and a research tool, focusing on the artist’s book and the multiple forms of contemporary editorial production.

Artist’s books, photography, zines, graphic experimentation, printing practices, self-produced and independent editorial projects will give life to a path dedicated to new editorial methods, where the book becomes a space for experimentation, critical device, and relational place between visual arts, writing, and design.

The event will bring together independent publishers, artists, and entities from various Italian and international cities, offering the public the opportunity to discover editorial projects that explore the boundaries between contemporary art, visual research, and cultural production.

The opening is scheduled for Friday 31 July at 6:00 pm, with a sound performance by Anna Vezzosi. Throughout the event, from Friday to Sunday, from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am, the program will include exhibitions, editorial presentations, talks, workshops, and moments of discussion dedicated to the languages of contemporary publishing.
