Livorno Al Centro 2025

Back from Friday 19 to Sunday 21 September, the festival “Livorno al Centro” returns, three days of free shows that will bring art, culture, and music to twelve places in the heart of the city. In its tenth edition, the event – organized by the cultural association Riki with the support of the Municipality of Livorno and the Teatro Goldoni Foundation – aims to revitalize the historic center and enhance local talents.

The program is rich: the protagonists are Piazza Cavour and Piazza XX Settembre, which for three days will host a real “music park” where emerging and historical bands will take turns on stage. “I have looked for young Livornese groups that still play in the garage – he continues – because musical events made together create a value that no algorithm can replace.” In via Sardi, there will be space for a mini rock event with an exhibition of Harley Davidson motorcycles, while the Central Market will come alive early in the morning with clown shows and street art. There will also be moments of reflection, such as the conference on architecture dedicated to multi-religious Livorno, guided tours of the historic villas Mauro Gordato and Rodocanacchi, and initiatives to raise awareness about the care of city parks.

The young Paralympic canoeist Christian Volpi will receive the gold medal of the Festival. The award will be presented by the Tourism Councilor Rocco Garufo and the artistic director of the Teatro Goldoni Emanuele Gamba, together with the artistic director of the Festival Riccardo Della Ragione.
