Books in Motion, a week of literary events in the Pontino San Marco neighborhood

“LIM – Books in Motion” returns, the itinerant literary review in the Pontino San Marco neighborhood, now in its third edition this year. From September 21 to 27, every day a book (or two) will be the protagonist in a different location of the neighborhood, always in the presence of the authors.

The initiative, born with the aim of enhancing the Pontino San Marco and promoting reading, will also be enriched with readings of selected passages and musical moments curated by the students of the Mascagni Conservatory.

The program includes Italian and international guests. It starts on Sunday, September 21 with Atef Abu Saif, followed by Peppe Millanta, Giacomo Scotti, Veronica Galletta, Marco Ferrucci, Marco Ferrari, Renzo Bacci, and Antonella Sinopoli, who will close the event on Saturday, September 27 with a musical performance by Gavi De Skape.

The meetings will take place in historic cellars, associative venues, and neighborhood spaces, in a formula that combines books, music, and community places.

LIM is realized in collaboration with “Libri di Daniela Barlì Carboncini” and with the support of the Municipality of Livorno, Council of zone 2, Pontino San Marco Committee, La 12ª Sedia, the Mascagni Conservatory, and other local organizations.
