Island of Capraia. Excursion to Punta del Trattoio

An itinerary of great charm to discover the wonder of the “volcanic” landscapes, panoramas, flora and fauna of Capraia. Starting from the village, we will walk along the historic mule track that leads to Mount Arpagna. Shortly before the summit, we will descend to the wild Punta del Trattoio, where we will stop for a picnic in front of an extraordinary view of the western coast. Along the way, stops for explanations will allow us to better appreciate the “volcanic beauty” of the island, its vegetational characteristics, habitats, floristic and faunistic species of conservation interest.
