CONCERT STARTS AT 10:00 PM
The proposal for Friday, July 31 will explore the relationship between word density and rhythmic power, combining the great Italian interpretative tradition with the metrics and sounds of hip-hop culture. Opening the evening’s programming at 9:15 PM, there will be a suggestive cultural and musical prologue curated by Grazia Di Michele. On the main stage, there will be a talk about the experience of talents featuring a joint performance by two talents united by the same television destiny but expressing wonderfully distant seasons of life: the winner of The Voice Senior 3 and the very young protagonist of The Voice Kids. Taking the stage will be Maria Teresa Reale — singer, pianist, music therapist, and singing teacher with a solid academic and international background, absolute winner of the Rai 1 show — and Matteo Trullu, a true prodigy of pop-rock at only 13 years old, a precocious multi-instrumentalist and winner of The Voice Kids 4, the talent show hosted by Antonella Clerici alongside coach Nek. The two artists will share their stories and blend their voices in a joint performance on the Main Stage focused on their visceral passion for music.
At 10:00 PM, words will turn into tight rhythms with the arrival of one of the noble fathers and absolute pioneers of Italian hip-hop: FRANKIE HI-NRG MC. The Livorno stop is a crucial appointment in the innovative summer tour “VOCE E BATTERIA,” an artistically essential, raw, and radical project that aims to strip songs of any superstructure to focus solely on the word and interpretation. Frankie hi-nrg mc (born in 1969, famous since 1992 for the protest song “Fight da Faida”) will take the stage accompanied only by the groove of drummer Donato Stolfi and the sharp scratches of Dj Stile. The show will perform live the great classics of the repertoire and tracks from the eponymous album “VOCE E BATTERIA” (Materie Prime Circolari), a refined choral laboratory enriched in the studio by verses and contributions from giants like Jovanotti, Fabri Fibra, Tiziano Ferro, Elisa, Emma, and Diodato.
