DIN DON DOWN In search of (D)io with Paolo Ruffini and the Compagnia Mayor Von Frinzius directed by Lamberto Giannini on piano Claudia Campolongo
Already enthusiastically welcomed by the audience, the show has all the “ingredients” to surpass the triumph of Up & Down: from the unleashed freedom of the performers to the formidable ability to irony on the present. A true concentrate of uninhibited irony and brilliant improvisation, Din Don Down challenges the boundaries of political correctness and approaches a new great concept: that of God, regardless of the forms or appearances in which everyone may recognize it. The recipe is always the same: a comedic happening, without rules, that subverts the deepest sense of what we stubbornly define as “normal”, that surprises and enchants, between comedy, disobedience and tenderness.
On stage the charismatic Paolo Ruffini who resists the unrestrained incursions of the disabled actors of the Compagnia Mayor Von Frinzius, accompanied by the notes of Claudia Campolongo on the piano. Uninhibited, irreverent, sacrilegious, the show proves to be an ideal antidote for an era that sacrifices every form of lightness and audacity at the altar of “political correctness”.
