Dance Artedanza – Red mimosa

The show is a journey through the ages of women, their emotions, red like blood, therefore also like life and unfortunately also like violence. Through music and choreography, the performance tells the female spirit in its multiple aspects. Woman understood as a complete circle, capable of welcoming, creating, nurturing, transforming.

Dance expresses and represents the strength, harmony, and grace of femininity at its best, and it does so in this case together with the dancers of Artedanza, the music, and the words of different women who have left indelible marks in the history of culture and humanity. “Red mimosa” has the urgency to communicate even to the youngest generations through the dancing bodies, how much courage has always belonged to women, how much resilience, love, and vital strength distinguish them, regardless of the historical period, geographical location, and social class to which they belong.

Also resisting and enduring what only women are called to endure at any age, in different countries around the world, or even more simply within the four walls of home, is an unparalleled strength. So that it never happens again, for the little girls who are facing life and because from everyone’s actions and from the first education we provide to our young people, things can change.

The choreography and direction are by Valeria Delfino and the show is performed by the dancers of Artedanza Livorno, a reality present in the territory since 2003 directed by the same choreographer.
