From Picasso to Warhol – Art on 33 rpm

Set up for the City of Livorno, this unique exhibition boasts works by some of the most famous artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, from Matisse to Basquiat, from Dubuffet to Beuys, including art giants like Picasso, Mirò, Warhol, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, and many others.

The exhibition, curated by Vincenzo Sanfo, a prominent art expert and curator of over 300 international exhibitions, is sponsored by Club Tenco and benefits from the collaboration of a committee of experts, including Alessandra Mammi, Red Ronnie, and Sergio Secondiano Sacchi. Sanfo has a long history of collaboration with important international museums and has organized major events such as the Vatican Masterpieces exhibition and the Venice Biennale.
“From Picasso to Warhol” is not only a celebration of art, but also a tribute to contemporary graphics and the ability of artists to revolutionize the world of art through vinyl covers. The exhibition includes works ranging from Andy Warhol’s early experiments in the ’40s to his latest creations shortly before his death, through the musical illustrations of Toulouse Lautrec, Salvador Dalì, and other protagonists of 20th-century art.

The exhibition also offers a look at unusual collaborations between artists and musicians, documenting surprising interactions between figures like Lady Gaga, the Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and artists like Mario Schifano and Andy Warhol, who have created their own musical groups. A unique exhibition that promises to surprise and enchant visitors with its wealth of discoveries and extraordinary works, designed to become iconic record covers and destined to enter the homes of millions of people.
