MARILYN’S CONCERT

The Marilyns are a Tuscan trio that makes music a journey between worlds and cultures. With a bohemian attitude and a free spirit, they mix pop rock and world music, contaminating themselves with South American atmospheres.

The band consists of Mary (vocals and piano), Alex (percussion and drums) and Gianluca (guitar). Previously active as Cubirossi – winners of the Emergenza Festival 2019 and Italian representatives at the Taubertal Festival in Germany – they have opened concerts for artists such as Morgan, Elisa, Finley, Sonohra, Bambole di Pezza and shared the stage with Il Cile.

In 2023 they toured Italy in clubs of the independent scene. In 2024 the I Marilyns project was officially born, with the release of the singles “Love or War?” and “Sole Luna”, produced by Pio Stefanini with the artistic supervision of Stefano Francesconi, for Zoo Music / Ada Music Italy, editions and management by Urban Sound di Fabrizio Barbacci.

Between important openings (such as the enthusiast of the Heart of the National Singers) and the entry into the Kashmir Concerti family, The Marilyns bring their free energy and global contamination to the stage today.

In May 2025 their third single “Kennedy” was released, a ballad that reflects the sound research of the recent period but with an introspective text. A piece that becomes an ode to inner freedom, inviting to let go but at the same time manifesting the need to feel safe with a person by one’s side, within an authentic bond.
