The FEMALE figure in Livorno’s vernacular theater has always been very important as the protagonist of the classic comedies by Beppe Orlandi or Gino Lena. The actors, in stage costume, that is, in clothes of a classic Livornese common woman, will bring to life an animation with spontaneous lines and stornelli accompanied by musicians. On stage on the bridges every day, from July 30 to August 3.
Participating: Franco Bocci, Alessio Nencioni, Marco Chiappini, Enrico Faggioni, Cristina Silvestri, Katia Collorà, Daniele Guidi, Angelo Menapace, Stefano Valdiserri, Massimiliano Bardocci, Claudio Porri Aldo Corsi and Elisabetta Macchia who will alternate on different nights.
“Livornese companies reunited” is a partnership formed by Livorno cultural associations La Compagnia Lirica Livornese, la Combriccola Livornese, La Carovana, La Compagnia del Sesto Piano directed respectively by Franco Bocci, Alessio Nencioni and Marco Chiappini. The consortium was mainly created to promote and continue Livorno’s vernacular popular theater, but not only, also the brilliant comedy, Operetta, Variety and Pre-show with the aim of collaborating together to enhance their actors and to propose to the city and regional public at their best. They collaborate together with The Carefree Goliards of Pisa.
