Chiara Pellegrini in “Kaira Mayra and the Journey in Jazz”

After the success of the jam sessions and jazz concerts held at DEF6 Bistrot with Federico Monzani and many other musicians last April for “Jazz Month” 2026, on the occasion of UNESCO International Jazz Day coordinated by the UNESCO Jazz Day Livorno Committee, the rich live music programming organized by Def6 Bistrot, Via della Bassata 6c, by Matteo Carnevali, an active promoter, continues.

On Monday, June 22, at 9:30 PM, an exceptional event, realized with the support of R.A.S.I. – Rete Artisti Spettacolo per l’Innovazione, starring Chiara Pellegrini with her project “Kayra Maira and the journey,” a musical journey through songs from different parts of the world arranged from the perspective of a jazz artist. Different languages and harmonized sounds in search of beauty.

With Chiara Pellegrini: Andrea Pellegrini, piano, Mirco Capecchi, double bass, and Michele Vannucci, drums.

Chiara Pellegrini, won the “Creole Global Music Award” in Berlin (Best Performance) with her trio Faya. She now lives in Livorno after a decade spent in the Netherlands, England, and Portugal. The concert is also a story of the experiences lived beyond the borders by this extraordinary artist from Livorno.
