The sequence of artists taking turns at Alle Vettovaglie, the Osteria of the Central Market of Livorno, continues. After the success of Frank Paradisi, here is another young artist, from Friday, May 3 to Saturday, June 15.

Veronica Cairo was born in Turin in 1983, she lived part of her youth in Cosenza, and since 2009 she has been living in Pisa. Drawing and colors have always been her travel companions, and at 31 years old, after a path of studies in Biology and many years of work as a waitress, promoter, saleswoman, she decided to dedicate herself to art. She looked for masters, books, and manuals, and every second of her free time she dedicated to practicing and improving, because she was sure that she would be a painter when she grew up. And now, here she is at 41 years old, in the prime of her energy, painting for passion, profession, to feel at home. She recently opened her painting Atelier in the ancient and charming village of Santa Maria a Monte (Pisa). For her, the most important part of her work is to convey joy and harmony through her paintings, life is full of obstacles, but also of so much beauty, and it is important to notice it often. Her love for her husband Samuele Borsò (a singer-songwriter from Pisa) has greatly contributed to the courage to embark on the path of being an artist.
