oven Project is pleased to present the exhibition Burning is the passage, curated by Bianca Basile. Three artistic practices that use matter as a living body. Salt, wax, and pigment become tools of transformation, between resistance and care. The exhibition brings together the works of Redusa (@redusaofficial), Noemi Mirata (@noeminmirata), and Giampaolo Parrilla (@giampaolo_parrilla) in a space of crossing, where the wound is not hidden but made visible as a gesture of permanence. The exhibition will be open from Saturday, November 8, 2025, to Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Sala del Forno of Fortezza Nuova, Livorno. Opening on November 8, from 6pm to 8pm. With the Patronage of the Municipality of Livorno.

Bianca Basile (Catania, 1995) is a curator of exhibitions and workshops related to contemporary art. Since 2019 she has been collaborating with Balloon Project and developing projects independently and in teams, with a dialogical and transdisciplinary approach, oriented towards investigating the encounter between contemporary art, territory, and participation. She attended Campo Redusa.

Rebecca Miccio (Naples, 1998) works between sculpture and design, using wax, iron, and salt to investigate emotional fracture as a ritual and plastic surface. She has exhibited in Bologna, Milan, and Naples, collaborating with Attitudes – Art Space, Air*m Project, and Casa degli Artisti. In 2022 she published “Scarpe” (Giacovelli Editore).

Noemi Mirata (Catania, 1995) develops installations and organic works between botany, memory, and transformation, with an approach rooted in painting and therapeutics. She has exhibited at Amy-D Gallery, The Others, Quam, and Fondazione Orestiadi, participating in the SIM Residency in Reykjavik in 2023.

Giampaolo Parrilla (Bologna, 1997) intertwines painting and geopolitical imaginaries to reflect on the representation of trauma and conflict. A graduate in Comics and Visual Arts in Bologna, he has exhibited at Floris Art Gallery, Paratissima, and Fondazione Sardegna Alghero, blending data, war iconographies, and collective narratives.
