A new original tour that will take you to discover the ancient and forgotten trades of the port of Livorno. Starting from the heart of the seventeenth-century Quartiere Venezia, you will have access to the Museum of the boats of the Northern Tyrrhenian Sea Port System Authority, where you will admire the last remaining boat in Livorno and other historical boats.
Walking in the historic districts of Venezia and Pontino, we will evoke in their workplaces the stevedores and many other trades, until we reach a suggestive and characteristic cellar by the water where you will meet Fulvio Pacitto, the last Master shipwright of Livorno, who with his memories of the city that was, will demonstrate this ancient trade.
Duration: 15:30-17:30 (2 hours)
