In harmony with the central theme of Effetto Venezia 2026 dedicated to the new generations, Harmony Music School presents “Featured Stories”, a musical-narrative project that brings the authentic experiences of today’s young people to the stage.

The title deliberately plays with the language of social networks (Instagram stories), but flips the logic: no longer ephemeral content that disappears in 24 hours, but real spotlights on the fundamental stages of life. The show will feature a selection of students and artists from the school, all aged between childhood and 35 years, in a musical journey divided into four macro-phases: childhood, adolescence, being a young adult, and reaching adulthood.

Through a setlist that spans genres and musical eras, the young people will not just sing, but use music as a manifesto to tell their own world from the inside. On stage, their difficulties, anxieties about the future, but also their perspective on politics, love, inclusion, and the social challenges of our time will take shape.

“With ‘Featured Stories,’ we wanted to avoid the rhetoric of ‘talking about young people’ from above. We preferred to give them the microphone,” explains the direction of Harmony Music School. “Our students up to 35 years old will sing their own truths. There will be the wonder of childhood, the contrasts of adolescence, the political and social precarity of the young adult, up to the awareness of early maturity. It will be a faithful mirror, at times rough but extraordinarily poetic, of what it means to be young today.”

Harmony Music School is one of the most dynamic, modern, and innovative realities in Livorno’s music education landscape. Directed by Chiara Prispoli and Teresa Rotondo with the aim of enhancing local talent and spreading music culture in every aspect, the school stands out for a targeted educational offer that combines the study of traditional instruments with technology and innovation. The educational offer ranges from singing, piano, guitar, and bass courses, to the frontiers of music production and the sounds of the handpan.

Within the school, there are also important ensemble experiences and specialized workshops, such as the project for singers “Voice in Progress” directed by Teresa Rotondo, Gospel Choir “Soul Freedom Gospel Choir” directed by Chiara Prispoli, and Groove Experience directed by Valerio Dentone and Leandro Bartorelli.

Harmony Music School is also characterized by a compelling live activity, organizing numerous shows throughout the year and a strong presence on social channels, through which it daily narrates the school’s energy.

For Harmony, music is lived on stage: technical teaching and classroom study are constantly blended with the experience of live performance, stimulating sharing, inclusion, and artistic growth of every student.
