TOSCA LIVE AT EFFETTO VENEZIA 2026

The 2026 edition of Effetto Venezia, the music and culture festival that will take place in Livorno from July 29 to August 2, announces a new prestigious guest. In addition to the already confirmed artists – The Kolors, Ditonellapiaga, Frankie Hi-Nrg Mc, Ginevra Di Marco and many others – the name of Tosca is added, who will tell her story through words and music in Piazza del Luogo Pio on Thursday, July 30.

The performance of the Roman artist is set to be a meeting of music and words. A journey inside the songs and the stories that generated them. Le feminæ si fanno aspettare is the “ConversaConcerto” that previews the tour of the new record project FEMINAE. Not just music, but a space for dialogue in which Tosca, interviewed by the artistic director of Effetto Venezia 2026 Grazia Di Michele, will alternate between songs and reflections, touching on themes present in her new album and reliving musical moments from her artistic journey so far. The project is brought to Livorno with Massimo De Lorenzi on guitar, Luca Scorziello on drums and percussion, and the String Quartet Onde Nueve.

“Tosca’s is a refined journey in music and singer-songwriter celebrated by her unique voice – explains Grazia Di Michele, festival’s artistic director – a journey that continues to fascinate a diverse audience. The relationship between generations is also built through education and I believe Tosca is a reference figure in this sense, given her extensive experience leading the Officina Pasolini, a youth arts training center that she has directed for several years in Rome”.

This edition of Effetto Venezia will have to give up one of its most anticipated protagonists, as Ron has communicated the need to suspend all scheduled performances due to health reasons. “The concert – as communicated by his production – will not take place to allow the artist to recover from a general state of physical weakness caused by a troublesome viral infection contracted last year, which although temporarily resolved, has not been completely eradicated. In the last months, the virus resurfaced, making it now necessary for a more intense and demanding treatment. On medical advice, Rosalino is forced to cancel the summer tour in order to undergo definitive medical treatment, observe a period of rest and recovery of about six months”.
