Oh no! Tribolino has made a mess: he has consumed all the water in the town of AcquaMatta to wash his friend Tirapuzze; his wife, Ira Sonante, becomes so furious that she forces him to go in search of water to fix the imminent damage. Tribolino, hero/antihero, sets off on an adventure, getting into all sorts of trouble.
A puppet show to talk about the most precious thing: water.
A tale about its use and abuse, pollution, and the infinite value it can have, especially when it’s not there; the puppets, of course, do it in their own way, with the comedy and satire that characterize them, not forgetting the inevitable gags and slapstick!
It’s a journey into the fairy tales and legends of the Mediterranean like the stories of Giufà, the tales of the Sicilian tradition by Giuseppe Pitrè, and the Italian fairy tales by Calvino; also Pulcinella, the Neapolitan Guarattelle, and the raw and grotesque comedy of Gargantua and Pantagruel, characters invented by Rabelais in the 1500s, are an inspiration for the development of the comedic line of this adventure.
