Frejico and Michiamanojack at The Cage

Two voices, two singer-songwriters, two Tuscans who have something to say. My Generation, the event that gives space to new independent voices and is the result of the collaboration between The Cage and Musicus Concentus, presents this time an evening that will see Frejico and Michiamanojack as protagonists. One from Livorno and the other from Pisa, but this is not a derby, music speaks a language that goes beyond local pride and enters the soul of people. The one in which words and notes touch certain strings that open up the senses and even the boundaries.

At The Cage, Frejico will play at home, on a stage he knows and where he may want to bring new things. Born Tommaso Selmi, he was born in Livorno in 2000 and approached music from a young age. In 2020 he began to release his songs independently. Over the years he has opened for artists such as Ariete, Psicologi, Mara Sattei and has shared the stage with his fellow citizens Enrico Nigiotti and Bobo Rondelli. His music combines pop melodies with singer-songwriter lyrics.

Michiamanojack, on the other hand, is Giacomo Calloni in real life. A singer-songwriter from Pisa born in 1997, he sets to music stories of love, of everyday life, of sensations that belong to everyone, all those that have never come out of a bedroom and a cigarette. Always self-deprecating, he has never stopped believing in romanticism. Balancing between singer-songwriting and pop, his lyrics are always extremely autobiographical. From a young age, he showed an innate passion for music, starting as a guitarist and then exploring the bass and, later on, the piano. At the age of ten, he picked up the guitar and started writing songs, driven by an unstoppable creative impulse. Seeking a deep connection with his listeners, Michiamanojack sings about alienation and the search for balance, but he does so with a lightness that invites us to smile at our insecurities and those peculiarities that make us unique. His music is a continuous reflection on himself and the world around him, a sincere narration that makes him one of the most interesting proposals in the contemporary music scene.
