The Risiatori Cup is an intense and spectacular rowing race, born in 1978, dedicated to the memory of Tito Neri. It is a very challenging long-distance competition: 7600 meters in open sea, starting from the Tower of Meloria and finishing at the swing bridge in front of the Novi Lena Docks, in the heart of Borgo Cappuccini. The crews, on ten-oared rowing boats, face a challenge that requires great physical preparation, strategy, and courage, with the possibility of clashes at sea due to the open route. In recent years, the event has been divided into two days.
