Giulia Bernini Trio Concert – Artistic project “OLTREmodo Woman”

With this concert Giulia Bernini pays homage to the artists, singers and songwriters who have inspired her in her musical journey. Starting not only from songs, but also from poems (such as The Albatross or I was born on the 21st in spring written by Alda Merini and interpreted by Milva) or films (Soundtrack of the cinematographic work on the life of the painter Frida Kahlo), the singer will propose a musical program accompanied by the virtuoso Emiliano Begni on the piano and by Alessandro Luccioli on drums, allowing the soul of each chosen piece to emerge and find new life with her vocal reinterpretations and new arrangements.

Starting from the Medley tribute to the Livornese singer-songwriter Nada Malanima (Desperate Love/How Cold It Is), she will also present songs by lesser-known Spanish and French singers, intersecting the themes of femininity and travel, which are very dear to her.

Finally, the performance at Effetto Venezia will be the occasion to present some original songs, taken from her debut album, Oltre, published in autumn 2023, symbol of initiative, tenacity and passion all in a feminine way for music and for dreams that come true
