“Teatro Picnic”: shows and magic under the stars for adults and children

The “Picnic Theater” turns off its first five candles and returns to the evocative setting of the Fortress with a program designed for young and old, including shows, smiles, and enchantment. The festival – organized by Koala Ludo in collaboration with Kalofèn Theater – offers five evening events focused on clown acts, juggling, animated readings, and creative workshops, all with free admission.

Each evening will start at 7 pm with welcoming activities and pre-shows for children, and then continue at 8 pm with the beginning of the performances.

June 18
The Brainless Brothers in “Royale Rumble 50”, Clowning and juggling with surprise incursions.

June 25
– 7:15 pm the pre-show: “The adventures in C’eraunavolta’s forest”, animated reading with presentation of the books La torta Gaia and Pane e singhiozzo, with Francesca Favorido and Valeria Morgantini
– Followed by contemporary Clown Ugo Sanchez jr. in “Potpourri”

July 2
– 7:15 pm the pre-show: “Master Plaster’s workshop”, wooden toy construction workshop;
– Followed by the commedia dell’arte Theater Trabagai and Kalofèn Theater in “The Ship of Fools”

July 9
– 7:15 pm the pre-show: “The Samurai’s dog”, loud reading with giant book by Giulia Ventura and illustrations by Cristina Pautasso.
– Followed by juggling and circus-theater by Beghéré Company in “Rendez-vous”

July 16
– 7:00 pm the pre-show: “Master Plaster’s workshop”, wooden toy construction workshop.
– Followed by clowning and juggling by Granmastro in “Scen-Sen-So, Clown Delirium”

All events take place at the Fortezza Nuova in Livorno – Koala Ludo Space.
