WHITE NIGHT OF SPORT 2025

The White Night of Livorno’s Sport, now in its third edition after the extraordinary success of the first two years, will take place on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 7 pm to 2 am, between via dei Pensieri, via Allende and the sports facilities that are part of the so-called Sports Citadel.

The event is organized by the Lem Foundation, an organization that deals with major tourist events on behalf of the Municipality of Livorno, in collaboration with the provincial committee of the Italian National Olympic Committee (Coni). The aim of the White Night of Sport – a unique event in Italy – is not only to celebrate Livorno’s sports tradition, an excellence and pride for Tuscany and all Italy, but also and above all to allow young people, boys and girls to get to know and try out every discipline, in view of the activities restarting in September.

All the facilities in the area, from Armando Picchi Stadium to PalaMacchia passing through the Camalich pool and the school field, will be open and will welcome families for an evening of sport and fun. As in the first two editions, it will be possible to follow or try dozens and dozens of sports, but this year the children present will also receive a gadget based on the number of disciplines tried during the event. Basketball, soccer, fencing, track and field, volleyball, gymnastics, wrestling, karate, judo, baseball, archery… But also surfing, sailing, and windsurfing thanks to the simulators, not to mention the ponies inside the Caprilli racecourse and many other novelties.

After the success of the last edition, this year the areas for sports shows will be two: one dedicated entirely to dance and skating, the other instead reserved for different disciplines such as cycling, wheelchair basketball, and martial arts.
