The Village of the International Sailing Week 2025. The program and concerts

Announced at the Naval Academy, the program of the 2025 International Sailing Week organized by the Naval Academy and the Municipality of Livorno. Among others, the commander of the Academy, Admiral Lorenzano Di Renzo, the councilor for tourism and commerce of the municipality of Livorno Rocco Garufo and the coordinator of the LEM Foundation Adriano Tramonti were present. After the success of last year, in 2025 the Village of the International Sailing Week will be located in the splendid setting of the internal and external areas of the Ex-Officine Storiche di Porta a Mare. Thanks to the collaboration between the LEM Foundation – Livorno Euro Mediterranean and the IGD Group, owner of the structure, the fantastic location already experienced in 2025 will once again present itself as an aggregative, cultural and entertainment area aimed at crews, citizens and tourists with an important sea view over the Darsena Nuova. It is a choice that consolidates the location as the ideal one for the event, in an area with a real quay and not just a sea view, as beautiful as that represented by the Terrazza Mascagni in 2022 and 2023. With the contribution of all the subjects involved by the Naval Academy, the Village will live continuously throughout the day and the ten days of the event, offering optimal reception and services to the sailors arriving from outside Livorno to promote socialization and provide the right entertainment on the margins of the competitions. Inside the area of the Ex-Officine storiche, there will be proposals located in various outdoor and indoor areas. Demonstrations, promotional activities entrusted to the Armed Forces – Navy at the forefront – and Law Enforcement, as well as exhibitions of vintage and classic boats of the Navy, award ceremonies, and exhibitions of vintage sails are planned. Furthermore, in the water basin of the Darsena Nuova, on April 25, the traditional Liberation Palio will be held.

CONTEST FINALISTS “DISCANTO” 2025

For 25 years, the DisCanto Festival has been the great showcase for unpublished songs, a stage that values and promotes musical talent without limits of genre, age, and origin. Participants will have the opportunity to conquer the stage of the Summer Festival, where the best artists selected by the direction of Centro Porta a Mare will perform in an unforgettable event.

ALEX MASTROMARINO AND VALERIO DENTONE

Mastromarino was the winner of the Persefone 2018 Award for Best Leading Actor and the Italian and Broadway Musical Award (Best Male Actor) 2017. Valerio Dentone, a Livorno native, has been the bassist of Gary Baldi Bros since 2008. He has collaborations with Paolo Ruffini and Claudia Campolongo, Enrico Nigiotti, and many other artists. He has recorded 2 original albums for the labels “Baracca e Burattini” and “Seahorse Recordings”.

Valentina Bagni is an Italian singer and musician, with a versatile voice and evocative sound, capable of interpreting different musical styles ranging from jazz, international pop to the best of Italian songwriting.

Damiano Sardi, a musician and singer from Tuscany, has been active in the music scene for fifteen years, participating in national talents like X Factor and collaborations as a backing vocalist on the stage of Sanremo in 2018.

LUCA GUIDI

A guitarist and singer-songwriter from Livorno, currently a member of Sinfonico Honolulu and was part of the Betta Blues Society.

The Lem Foundation – Livorno Euro Mediterranean was established to promote and qualify Livorno as a tourist destination through actions of governance and planning of the territorial offer. The Foundation also organizes large events for tourism (for example, Effetto Venezia) on behalf of the Municipality of Livorno, which is a founding member and main sponsor. To achieve its objectives, it has been set up as a non-profit foundation open to the inclusion of private partners. The Mayor is the President of the foundation.
