Santa Giulia Cup 2025

The Holy Cup of Santa Giulia, a historic rowing race dedicated to the patron saint of Livorno. For the 2025 edition, it returns to its origins with an important innovation: the competition will again take place on the morning of May 22, as in the first editions. Furthermore, the organizing committee proposes a new time trial race format, which will take place on the water in front of the Novi Lena docks. A new and closer to the heart of the city center track, designed to offer the public a more direct and engaging view of the competition. The organizers describe it as an experiment, which could become the first step towards further future changes, while maintaining a strong connection with the history, spirituality and rowing tradition of Livorno.
