Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th at 5.30 pm guided tours with guaranteed departure continue to discover the renovated contemporary section of the Livorno City Museum, which tells the story of Italian art from the post-war period to the 1980s.
The focus of this week includes an in-depth look at one of the key figures in Italian art, Bruno Munari, through the reading of a core of exhibited works that exemplify the revolutionary insights of this extraordinary creative and experimenter.

On Sunday, April 14th at 11.00 am, there will also be a guided tour for adults and children that, through fun quizzes and riddles, will reveal the secrets of some artists who have contributed to enrich the contemporary heritage of the Museum with their works.
The re-staged section in the former church of Luogo Pio hosts a renewed selection of works entered through the historic editions of the Modigliani Prize and the activities of the Progressive Museum of Contemporary Art in Livorno, which see the emergence of in-depth nuclei on artists such as Alberto Burri, Bruno Munari, Gianfranco Baruchello, Giulia Napoleone, and other protagonists of Italian research.
