On Wednesday, December 13th at 6 pm, at the Auditorium Cesare Chiti, Jean-Marc Foussat, Guy-Frank Pellerin, and Eugenio Sanna will perform.

The three musicians, Jean-Marc Foussat (on AKS synthesizer, toys, vocals), Guy-Frank Pellerin (on saxophones), and Eugenio Sanna (on electric guitar and vocals) will come together for a new, completely unpredictable creation, interacting with the multi-phonic sound spatialization system installed in the Auditorium Cesare Chiti at the Pietro Mascagni Conservatory in Livorno, managed by sound engineer Luigi Agostini with the collaboration of Fabio De Sanctis De Benedictis.

Jean-Marc Foussat (Fr) is an important musician in French and European electroacoustic and improvised music. He is also a sound engineer and the founder of the record label Fou Record. He has played and recorded with musicians such as Evan Parker, Carlos Zingaro, Daunik Lazro, Ramon Lopez, Urs Leimgruber, and has produced numerous recordings that have become important references in the history of European improvised music.

Guy-Frank Pellerin (Fr/Ca) is an improvising saxophonist who has experimented with improvisation through different musical forms and in collaboration with musicians, painters, dancers, poets, and actors. He has played, among others, in Alan Silva’s Celestrial Communication Orchestra and alongside musicians such as Steve Lacy, Bobby Few, Frank Wrigth, Sunny Muray, Noël MacGhee, Carlos Zingaro, and Roger Turner.

Eugenio Sanna was one of the founders of C.R.I.M. (Center for Research on Musical Improvisation) in Pisa and is an active promoter of improvised music through concerts, workshops, meetings, debates, and articles. He has played with Giuseppe Chiari, John Zorn, Edoardo Ricci, Tristan Honsinger, Eddie Prevost, Derek Bailey, and many others.

Admission to the concert is free.
