Bloomsday tour to celebrate Joyce’s Ulysses

Bloomsday in Livorno is our way of celebrating Joyce’s Ulysses: we will wander around the city on foot and by bus, letting ourselves be fascinated by the everyday becoming extraordinary by mirroring the Dublin settings of the novel, for the occasion contaminated by Livornese sounds in the reading by Claudio Monteleone. The experience will be an opportunity to discover curious events and historical-cultural information of the territory with the contribution of Agave which will accompany the participants on a guided tour from the Fortezza Vecchia, to the Venezia Nuova passing through the historic center, up to the Terrazza Mascagni and the Porto Mediceo, combining key episodes of the novel with the visit of equally iconic places in Livorno.
