Theater kids. “What family are you from?”

New appointment with children’s theater on Sunday, December 26 at 5 pm at the New Theater of Comedies. On stage Officine Papage “What family are you from?”, with Benedetta Tartaglia, text by Silvia Montagnini, directed by Marco Pasquinucci.

What family are you from? is a work dedicated to girls and boys (from 6 to 10 years old) and their families, produced in collaboration with the Rainbow Families Association, which reflects on what a family is today and how many families can exist, all different, all with their own dignity.
On stage there is only a clothesline, empty. We are on a terrace. A girl enters to hang out the laundry and in the meantime she tells a story: once upon a time… there was a wall.

A wall that divided the city, or rather divided the families that lived there: on one side those formed by a woman and a man (married) with children, on the other all the others.
Martina, who has two moms, stands on one side of the wall. Piero, who has a mom and a dad, stands on the other. With the excuse of a ball accidentally flying over the wall, the two protagonists, unwitting heroes, find the courage to overcome the wall and ignite thanks to their curiosity and their desire to know each other, the spark of a small great revolution. Even their families, apparently so different, will get to know each other, and they will discover that they are very similar, based on love, respect, support, and understanding.
