IF YOU HAVE DINNER, YOU DON’T HAVE SUPPER. VERNACULAR AT VILLA TROSSI

The very topical Comedy tells the story of a classic poor Livornese family where, to get by every day, they go through great struggles, with the inevitable old woman, who with her meager pension supports the family, with the daughter who struggles to do small sewing jobs, with the son-in-law, who, due to the loss of his job, invents some odd jobs to scrape together a few coins and a somewhat vain and unscrupulous grandson who tries to make a good impression on his wealthy girlfriend. But one day something unexpected happens that may change someone’s life, but to find out about this we invite you to the show starring the vernacular comedian Aldo Corsi, author of the comedy itself in the role of the inevitable old woman Corinna, Annarosa Bechelli as the daughter Nada, Fabio Max as the son-in-law Virgilio, Franco Bocci as their son Luciano and Elisabetta Macchia as the inevitable friend of the house, a family-ruining pillager. The musical direction is by Stefania Casu while the direction is taken care of by the whole La Combriccola.

The Livornese Vernacular Festival dedicated to the memory of Giuseppe Pancaccini will continue on Saturday, August 17th at 9:30 pm with the “Varietà Labronico del Buonumore”, a musical comedy show full of wit and humor, performed by the actors of the Combined Livornesi Companies.
