May 1st at Surfer Joe
Open-air music day designed to celebrate the creativity and energy of the local bands and artists, in one of Livorno’s most charming locations, the Terrazza Mascagni
The traditional May 1st festival at Surfer Joe is now in its ninth edition.
Line-up 2025:
- Radio Ithemba – rumba and Latin rhythms
- Baldo degli Ubaldi – author’s folk and sincere sounds
- Trenchtown Train – Roots reggae band
- Ico and the Human Cases – punk and indie rock
To keep the rhythm alive before, during, and after the live performances, two exceptional DJs will take care of it:

- Dome La Muerte
A free event, designed for all ages, perfect for spending May 1st with good music, sea, and conviviality.
Musical selection begins and the event opens at 2:00 PM.
