“Perfect days,” live connection with director Wim Wenders

Thursday, January 11th from 9 pm, the Cinema Teatro 4 Mori will be the protagonist of an internationally relevant event simultaneously with few other cinemas in the country. Before the screening of the film “Perfect days” by Wim Wenders, viewers will have the opportunity to attend a live connection with the director himself, during an interview conducted by journalist Matteo Carzaniga, thanks to the collaboration with Cinemas Europa – Creative Europe Media. Everything is included in the price of the admission ticket. An experience that will undoubtedly enrich those who have the chance to watch the film shortly afterwards on the big screen in Via Pietro Tacca, guiding them through the life, anecdotes, and curiosities of one of the most well-known directors on the international scene.

Plot: Hirayama leads a simple life marked by a perfect routine. He dedicates himself with care and passion to all the activities of his day, from working as a public bathroom cleaner in Tokyo to his love for books, plants, and music, especially the one that accompanies him through the distribution of audiocassettes while driving to and from work, to photography, and all the little things that can bring a smile. In the repetition of daily life, a series of unexpected encounters will reveal something more about his past. After the release of the trailer, on May 22, 2023, “Perfect days”, distributed on January 4th, was ranked fifteenth in the Best Movie magazine’s list of the best films of 2023. At the 2023 Cannes Film Festival, it won the Ecumenical Jury Award and the Palme d’Or competition, and it received a nomination for Best Foreign Film at the Critics’ Choice Awards 2024.
