Pellegrini, Bittolo Bon, De Sanctis and Petreni at Unheard Sounds

The XIV edition of Unheard Sounds continues, the international contemporary music festival of the “Pietro Mascagni” State Conservatory of Music in Livorno, curated by Prof. Fabio De Sanctis De Benedictis along with Prof. Pietro Bittolo Bon. The next event is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19th at 6.00 pm at the Auditorium “Cesare Chiti” of the Conservatory with the “Assisted improvisation concert”, a project that combines musical improvisation and technology through the use of algorithmic improvisation computer programs. The protagonists of the evening will be Andrea Pellegrini on piano, Pietro Bittolo Bon on saxophone and other instruments, Francesco Petreni on drums and Fabio De Sanctis De Benedictis on computer. The event represents one of the most significant examples of the spirit of the festival, always focused on the exploration of contemporary languages, the dialogue between composition and improvisation, and the possibilities offered by new technologies applied to music.
