After the exciting inauguration, events continue at Porta a Mare. It will be a special Halloween, waiting for the rich program that will accompany all the people of Livorno until the Christmas holidays from November. Halloween promises to give everyone days of pure fright with the initiative “Don’t Open That Door… to the Sea” characterized by events, talk shows, short film screenings, and scary performances that will take place in the two areas of “Historical Workshops” and Mazzini. From October 27th to November 1st, from 3 pm to 7 pm, “The Halloween Castle” will be set up: a terrifying tower, a well of horrors, a corner for scary photos, and spooky face painting for children. For Halloween day, October 31st, from 3 pm to 6 pm, “Monstrous Stilt Walkers” will scare all brave customers, and from 5 pm to 6:30 pm, the horror performance “Hallo-Ween, Am I a Monster to You? Trick or Zombie?” in collaboration with Compagnia Mayor Von Frinzius is scheduled. Porta a Mare continues to be an increasingly important point of reference for the city and an integral part of the Livorno territory. In this direction, there is also collaboration with the FIPILI Horror Festival, which will be realized through two events. On Sunday, October 29th, at 2:30 pm, there will be a talk with film critics Pier Maria Bocchi and Filippo Mazzarella entitled “Less and Less Red. Horror Cinema Today.” On October 31st, from 6 pm to 11 pm, the horror marathon “The Best of the FI PI LI Horror Festival.” All initiatives are free and open to the public.
