The album “The Exhausted World”, born from an initial idea of Enrico Filippi who was the original keyboardist of the progressive trio “Aliante”, as the title suggests, is the vision of the Teodicea group of the contemporary world that tends to give, deprive, and phagocytose emotions to human beings, making the latter afflicted by the feeling of impotence in the face of the impossibility of being able to realize in reality what the mind conceives or desires. What characterizes the songs is a cinematic breath; a series of “soundtracks” for every moment of a typical day in our time.It doesn’t matter in what order you listen to the album, each of us from the moment we wake up to when we fall asleep (passing through the dreamlike state) will touch in a completely personal way the emotion and sensation that each track suggests; frenzy, delicacy, frustration, resignation, hope, joy. The listener is accompanied in this emotional whirlwind that no one can deny living from time to time.
Teodicea, the name of the group, which means “justice of God” (from the Greek theos, god and dike, justice) is a branch of philosophy (theology) that studies the relationship between the justice of God and the presence of evil in the world.
Produced by Teodicea and Vannuccio Zanella on the M.P. & Records label, the CD is distributed by G.T. Music Distribution by Antonino Destra; Micio Poldo Music Editions. Cover design by Luca di Pietro Artwork and graphic layout by OndemediE.
